Your page
Every artist on Frekvenci gets one address that holds everything: the records, the tracklists with a load button on each line, the shows, the label, and whatever the Hub has written about you. It is built from the catalogue, so it is never out of date and there is nothing to keep updated.
You do not get a follower count, a like count on your face, or a feed position that goes down when you do not post. There is nothing to feed. See the roster for what a page looks like before you have one.
The radio
Nine stations, one per mood. Today they play Creative Commons tracks from Jamendo, credited while they play. Later, a record that goes up goes into the rotation of the station its mood belongs to — not as a favour and not as a promotion, just because that is where it fits.
Residents get two hours a week and pick their own hour. If you want one, that is a conversation, not an application form.
What we count
What we never do
No algorithm. Nothing on this site is ordered by a model. Tonight’s list is picked by a person. The catalogue sorts by date, listeners or title, and says which one it is doing.
No paid placement. You cannot buy a position, a station slot, a Hub page or a night. Nobody has ever asked twice.
No exclusivity. Your record can be everywhere. We would rather be one of the places than the only one.
No training. We do not hand the catalogue to anybody to train a model on, and we do not host anything made by one. Both halves of that matter.
