Using the site
Frekvenci is free to read and free to listen to. You do not need an account for either. An account exists so you can keep tapes, follow stations and post on the board, and you can delete it whenever you like — see privacy for what that removes.
Do not scrape the catalogue, do not re-host the audio, and do not use the site to train a model. Everything else you would expect to be able to do, you can.
What you put up
Your record stays yours. Putting it on Frekvenci gives us permission to stream it, show its artwork and write about it — nothing more, nothing exclusive, and only while it is up.
Take it down whenever you want. Mail us and it is gone the same day; the page becomes a note saying it was here, because links people saved should not simply break.
What you post on the board is yours too. It stays up unless you remove it or it breaks the one rule the board has, which is on the board.
What we put up
The writing in the Hub is ours and has a name on it. Quote it, link it, argue with it. Do not republish a whole page without asking — asking works.
Reviews are opinions held by the person who signed them. If a review has a fact wrong, tell us and we correct it in the open, with a line saying what changed.
Money
Frekvenci is free and non-commercial. It takes no money, from listeners or from artists. If you sell your music, link your own store: listeners buy from you there, and we never see the money.
There is no subscription, no advertising and no sponsored placement, so nobody on this site is the product.
Ending it
You can leave at any time and take everything with you. We can take something down if it is not human-made, is not yours, or is being used to harm somebody — and we will say which of the three it was.
If we ever shut the site down, we will say so three months ahead and leave the catalogue exportable until the last day.
